 Last November, I met Carrie Bray from Merrill Lynch at your Koffee Talk.  Because of this connection (through WiBN), Carrie booked our firm for a speaking series that included four speaking engagements throughout 2010.  We had our first event with Carrie last Saturday, and the event resulted in five new clients.  I believe that number is a record for one of our speaking events!  I estimate based on the work that we will be doing for these clients that our firm will make at least $8,000 in revenue as a result of this one speaking event, which would have never happened if I hadn't gone to the Koffee Talk last November and met Carrie. 
 
Other than the many wonderful relationships I have developed through WiBN, I never really had any expectations about our firm benefiting financially from my membership.  Now, however, I am proof that one can actually receive some great tangible benefits from WiBN too; what an added bonus!

Connection is the key word…Membership in the Women in Business Networking (WiBN) is a unique opportunity for women business owners and women professionals alike.  Our organization is not a service but a forum for individuals who desire personal and business success- your participation is required. Your commitment to the growth and success of the organization and of other member’s businesses will in turn become the growth and success of your business. Therefore, the relationship between the organization and the individual is a partnership in itself.

We also provide business growth through our “Hot Topic” Koffee Talk discussions and our membership’s dedication to the use of our member network resources.  Through our Downtown Morning Toasters we teach and nurture presentation and leadership skills. We provide the networking structure through meetings and events, you just need to attend and participate!  Please know you are WELCOME to attend any event by making a reservation. You are NOT required to be a member of WiBN to attend any event.  The Membership offers multiple discounts to members and is completely opitional.
