Cris Peterson is passionate about helping others to live a healthier, happier life.  She has spent the last 10 years in the non-profit sector, first with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as the Dayton Campaign Manager and currently at the American Heart Association as the Director of the Go Red for Women campaign.

 

While at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, she was responsible for the Light the Night Walk, the Pennies for Pasta program and for bringing the Man & Women of the Year campaign to Dayton.  She joined the American Heart Association as the Director for the Heart Gala and took over the Go Red for Women cause campaign in 2009.  Her responsibilities include fundraising and development, education and awareness about cardiovascular disease in women, and event planning. 

 

She is responsible for the Go Red for Women luncheon that is held in May in Dayton and the Go Red Goes North event that is in September at Edison Community College She has been married to her husband Ed for 30 years and has two sons, Eric and Matt.
